Counterintelligence/HUMINT Intelligence Branch
MISSION STATEMENT

Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence Branch (IOC) assists the DIRINT in executing his responsibilities for developing and implementing Marine Corps CI and HUMINT policy. Provides expertise on, and serves as the focus point for, the coordination and integration of national and DoD CI/HUMINT plans, policies and programs affecting the Marine Corps. IOC serves as the principal point of contact between the Marine Corps and external agencies in matters involving espionage, sabotage, terrorism and subversive activities.

TASKS

  • Serves as the principle point of contact between the marine Corps and external agencies in matters involving espionage, sabotage, terrorism and subversive activities.
  • Provide expertise on, and serve as the focal point for, the coordination and integration of national and DoD CI/HUMINT plans, policies and programs affecting the Marine Corps.
  • Participate in CI resource activities such as Foreign Counterintelligence Program (FCIP) and Emergency and Extraordinary Expenses (EEE) funds management.
  • Conduct liaison with the naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS)
