Congressional Affairs Contact Office (CACO)

The Congressional Affairs Contact Office (CACO) is the organization's link to Congress charged with the mission of defending the President’s Budget and consequently, maintaining the continuity and integrity of Army funding. Serves as Advisor and Technical Consultant to ACSIM/IMCOM CG and Senior Staff for all Congressional actions on such matters as Military Construction, Installation Management, and Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) programs. Provides support in preparation of congressional briefings, meetings, and hearings. Controls Congressional actions to ensure that ACSIM/IMCOM communications are coordinated, timely, accurate, and consistent.
