Civil Society Development

USAID civil society development projects foster a civil society capable of well-informed participation in community-based initiatives and public advocacy across the social and economic spectrum in Belarus.

Over the past five years, 69 percent of 982 actual and potential victims of trafficking secured jobs after participating in USAID job search and job skills trainings, follow-up interning with businesses, state enterprises and non-government organizations.
Combating Trafficking in Persons

Trafficking in persons is an egregious violation of human rights that treats human beings as commodities to be bought and sold.
