Visitors, Installation Access for Individuals not registered in DBIDS

The following provisions apply to all newly arrived personnel who possess a valid DOD Identification Card:  

• All personnel who possess a valid DOD ID card (e.g. Active Duty, DOD Civilian, Dependant ID, Retiree ID, reservist ID, (* not contractors) present an additional form of photo ID (Passport is recommended) along with assignment orders or TDY orders to be granted access to the installation.    
• In cases where an individual’s passport is not available, then any other form of photo ID along with the DOD ID card and assignment orders, or TDY orders.
• In each event, when newly arrived personnel who possess valid DOD Identification are advised to report (at earliest) to the DBIDS & Vehicle Registration Office located in Bldg 544; or the CPX Gate Visitor’s Center located in Bldg 724 to register in DBIDS.  Hours of operation at both facilities are Mon-Fri, 0800-1700; closed on weekends, U.S and Korean holidays and USFK training holidays.

NOTE:

• In cases where an individual requires access to the installation for the purpose of obtaining DOD identification at the Pass/ID/DEERS office, Bldg 544; then the individual (not contractors*) must present a valid passport along with their assignment orders, TDY orders, or letter of employment to be granted unescorted access. 
• * - Contractors arriving with or without DOD identification must coordinate with their organizational sponsor to facilitate their access onto the installation for the purpose of obtaining a CAC card or registering in DBIDS.  Contractors must have a valid 700-19 to be registered DBIDS.
