Special Troops Battalion
 
 
The Special Troops Battalion (STB), 1st Sustainment Brigade (1st SB) was activated on the 15th of February 2007. The Special Troops Battalion, 1st Sustainment Brigade organizes, equips, trains, maintains and sustains the brigade headquarters; provides command and control of assigned and attached units as directed; on order, deploys in support of brigade operations; on order, redeploys, re-integrates and supports brigade RESET. On 15 February 2007 the DISCOM was officially re-flagged as the 1st Sustainment Brigade with two subordinate battalions, the Special Troops Battalion and the 541st Combat Sustainment Support Battalion. The Special Troops Battalion consists of the HHC and 267th Signal Company.
