Environmental Advisory Board

IWR provides technical support to the Chief of Engineers Environmental Advisory Board (EAB). The EAB was instituted in 1970 to advise the Chief on national resource management matters. The Board typically meets 2-3 times per year, focusing on a specific topic at each meeting or series of meetings. Based on their deliberations, recommendations are provided to the Chief.
