Major Rolandis J. CrawlMajor Rolandis J. Crawl is the commander of the Raleigh Military Entrance Processing Station.

Major Crawl enlisted in the Army Reserve in January 1994. He served as a Personnel Records Specialist for three years in Orlando, Fla. He received his commission in May 1998 after completing the Air Force ROTC program at Florida State University, Tallahassee, Fla.

His first assignment was at Florida State University, where he served as the Air Force ROTC, Assistant Regional Director of Admissions. In June 1999, he was assigned to Moody Air Force Base, Ga., where he served with the 69th Fighter Squadron and the 347th Civil Engineer Squadron as Section Commander. In August 2001, he was assigned to the University of Central Florida, Orlando, Fla., where he served as an Air Force ROTC Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies, Education Officer, Unit Admissions Officer, and Flight Training Officer. He was then assigned to Pope Air Force Base, N.C., where he served as Chief of Customer Support, Military Personnel Flight, and then as Executive Officer, 23rd Fighter Group from 2004 to 2008. Major Crawl was next assigned to Joint Task Force Bravo, Soto Cano, Honduras, where he served as Director of Human Resources and Force Support Commander. Prior to his current assignment he served with the Air National Guard Readiness Center, Arlington, Va., as Chief of Manpower, Plans and Integration.

Major Crawl’s professional military education includes the Aerospace Basic Course, Squadron Officer School and Air Command and Staff College. He has also earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Management from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, Tallahassee, Fla., a Masters of Public Administration from Valdosta State University, Valdosta, Ga., a Master of Arts Degree in Human Resources from Webster University, St. Louis, Mo., Professional Human Resources certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute, Alexandria, Va., and Executive Human Resources certification from Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y.

His military awards and decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, three Air Force Commendation Medals, two Air Force Achievement Medals and numerous unit and service medals and ribbons.
