 Marine Corps Base, Quantico (MCBQ), Virginia, is a 58,000 ac active military training base located approximately 35 miles south of Washington D.C. MCBQ provides a variety of outdoor recreation opportunities, including Hunting, Fishing, mountain biking, trail running, firewood cutting, and wildlife viewing. Popular game species aboard MCBQ include White-tailed deer, wild turkey, largemouth bass, and black crappie. On the Mainside portion of MCBQ we have over 15 miles of maintained running and biking trails. Trail maps can be found at kiosks located at trailheads on the Mainside portion of MCBQ and here. Recently, a new Archery facility was constructed, primarily by volunteers in the MCBQ Conservation Volunteer Program.

   On this website you can find important information regarding the MCBQ hunting and fishing programs, the conservation volunteer program, and the Sportsman Advisory Council.
