Resource Directorate

Resource Directorate The mission and general functions of the Directorate are to provide administrative, budgetary, manpower, logistical, audio-visual, and library support services to the Institute and coordinate the Army Internal Control Program. Sections within the Resource Directorate include:

INFORMATION MANAGEMENT DIVISION

The Information Management Division provides a broad range of capabilities including database design, analysis and management, technical support, data management, coordination of data communication activities, planning and programming for automation enhancements, information resource access, information assurance security and risk management, and review and analysis of workflow performance improvement activities, media informatics support, and library research services.

LOGISTICS DIVISION

Logistics Division provides support to the Institute by receiving Class VIII supplies and non-expendable equipment for issue and turn-in, coordinating the reutilization of excess equipment, conducting medical equipment maintenance and repair services, managing facility maintenance services, maintaining temporary storage areas, processing unit supply requirements for enlisted soldiers and supporting GWOT operations.

OPERATIONS, TRAINING & SECURITY DIVISION

This activity oversees Operations, Security, Training, and OCONUS Travel requirements for the Institute. The staff consists of the Chief, Operations, Security, & Training, the Training Coordinator, the DTMS Administrator and an Administrative Clerk.

PERSONNEL DIVISION

Personnel Division manages, coordinates, executes and provides oversight for the military and civilian human resource management functions. This office provides solutions to management problems and programs such as military and civilian pay, civilian appraisal, promotions, assignments, enlisted and officer efficiency reports (NCOERs and OERs), incentive awards, records management, suspense tracking system, civilian recruitment, employee relations, training and updates military personnel information into EMILPO.

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT/BUDGET

Resource Management Office programs, budgets, executes and accounts for the assets, funding and manpower supporting the USAISR’s mission. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) conducts reviews, performs analysis and maintains internal controls to ensure the effective and efficient use of resources. The CFO serves as the financial liaison with USAMRMC Comptroller, Brooke Army Medical Center Comptroller, USAMEDCOM Comptroller, and DFAS-Rome.
