Code Enforcement

Code Enforcement is a major responsibility within the Fire Prevention Branch. Enforcement is guided through the use of the most current version of the National Fire Protection Association Standards, Unified Facilities Codes, Code of Federal Regulations, and Army Regulations. There are a number of inspections that are handled by this branch. In addition to existing and new construction, listed below are some other inspection/services that are provided.

Foster/Adoption home inspections (when requested)

Assist with fire/evacuation drills

Receive and respond to citizen complaints and inquiries
