School Group Tours
The Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum consists of the Library, Museum, Boyhood Home, Place of Meditation and Visitors Center. These buildings are open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. daily, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. If you have a group that would like to visit, please contact us with the date, time of arrival, and the number in the group.
The Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum does not conduct guided tours. This should pose no problem as the exhibits are labeled and self-explanatory. Tours of the Boyhood Home are scheduled every 15 minutes throughout the day. Please check in at the Visitors Center to obtain a ticket for the tour. We suggest allowing two to three hours for touring the complex.
Students visiting with an organized school group are admitted free of charge at the Eisenhower Museum and Boyhood Home. We also admit one adult free for each five students in the group. Additional adults will be charged the adult rate. Students are required to stay with their sponsor at all times. Please check in at the Visitors Center upon your arrival and to view the 25 minute orientation film.
An organized school group eligible for free admission consists of students K through 12, whose attendance on this field trip is associated directly with a recognized school (public, private, or home).
If you have questions regarding your eligibility to be admitted as a school group, please call visitors services at 785-263-6700.
Note: College students with student identification are offered $5.00 admission.
