Over 80 Drop Box
The drop box is for the use of visa applicants aged 80 years and over. It is a method that enables individuals to submit their applications and necessary documents without appointment or interview. Visas are normally processed and returned via TT Post courier within 2 weeks.
Consular officers reserve the right to request that an applicant be interviewed. Use of the drop box does NOT guarantee issuance of a new visa.
Drop Box Process
To use the drop box, you must submit the required documents to the U.S. Embassy's Consular Section Monday to Friday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please come prepared to pay the TT Post delivery fee of TT $50. You can also mail your application to the Embassy via TT Post, but you must include a track pack to return the passport.
Required Documentation
- Current passport and old passports with U.S. visas,
- Completed DS-160 electronic application,
- Both TT Post receipts,
- 1 passport sized photo on a white or light colored background (if the photo was not uploaded to the application form)
Applicants may also submit additional documents to support their application.
