The Mission of the APEO for Strategic Management & Communications is to lead, facilitate and manage the development, integration and implementation of overarching PEO GCS Strategy to enhance strategic situational awareness, improve effective decision making and enable leadership to anticipate and respond to emerging trends, events, challenges and opportunities.
The APEO is the primary staff element for organizational governance and executes Performance Management and Management Controls.
Lastly, the APEO for Strategic Management & Communications is responsible for conveying PEO GCS organizational direction and strategic intent to key internal and external stakeholders, and manages all aspects of strategic communications, public affairs and advocacy for the PEO and its assigned ground combat systems.
