The U.S. Consulate offers the opportunity to join a number of clubs and activities.

English Conversation Club

The English Conversation Club is a monthly discussion group to allow non-native English speakers the chance to practice their spoken English. During meetings, you will be able to meet your peers and practice the English language first-hand with one of our American officers, who will be available to moderate the conversation.  Participants should have at least an intermediate-level of English speaking skills.  The monthly conversation will focus on pre-assigned readings about a specific topic.  For this month's date and topic of the English Conversation Club, please see the Consulate's Events Calendar.

These conversations do NOT feature a lecture, a lesson, or a specific textbook.  Rather, they present an opportunity for you to practice your English skills with a native American speaker.

Media Club

The Media Club allows university students interested in photography, film-making, and journalism to hone their skills through coverage of live events.  For more information, please email AlexPA@state.gov.
