The American Citizens Services unit (ACS) assists recipients of U.S. federal benefits who are resident in Australia. We are not an office for each agency, and as such we are unable to access their records. For assistance with U.S. federal benefits, please refer to the following information:
Special Note: The U.S. Treasury is phasing out the payment of benefits by check. As of early 2013, all benefits will be paid electronically.
We strongly encourage all beneficiaries residing in Australia to sign-up for International Direct Deposit of their benefits before this time to ensure the consistent payment of their benefits.
