Who We Are
The NIH Supply Center is the Agency's ISO-9000:2008 Certified, internal, not-for-profit, and FAR-approved first source for research and office supplies. We operate a warehouse that stocks items for online orders through iProcurement, as well as two campus stores.
What We Do
We help secure the best value for the Agency on the supplies it uses to lead the way toward important medical discoveries that improve
people's health and save lives. We charge only the wholesale cost we pay for items plus a surcharge to help cover the cost of the operation.
Unlike other sources, we are a not-for-profit organization, so your dollars stay put within the Agency. We also save the Agency money by reducing
P–card transaction time and expenses, shipping costs and other costs of external ordering that you may not see but really add up.
Changes We've Made
We've made several changes over the past year to improve our operations, including:

Updated our catalog with new products including environmentally-friendly "Green" items.

Formed Lab Mananger and Office Product Committees.

Reduced delivery time to next-day on most orders.

Launched a desktop delivery service for store orders.

Eliminated delivery charges.
