Principal, Ms. Emmalie Lee, previously the Assistant Principal at Edgren High School, is the new Principal of Kinnick High School. Originally from Southern California, Ms. Lee received her bachelor’s degree and teaching credentials from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona, and her master’s in Special Education/Gifted Education from California State University, Los Angeles. She taught in the Ontario-Montclair School District, Calif., before entering DoDDS in 1986 as a TAG Specialist in Pirmasens, Germany. Ms. Lee transitioned back to the states where she taught middle school science while earning her licensure in Educational Administration from Humboldt State University.

In 1994 Ms. Lee embarked upon her administrative roles as the K-8 Principal in Del Norte County, Calif., before moving to the Assistant Principal role at Del Norte High School. She then returned to DoDDS as a TAG Specialist, serving in Guam and England. Ms. Lee transitioned back to administration, first as the Principal of Brookings Harbor High School and then as Assistant Principal at the Anglo American School in Moscow, Russia. She became the Assistant Principal at Edgren High School in Dec. 2010.
