Places Worth Visiting

Zama Middle School is in the heart of the Kanto Plains which is one of the most populated and historically significant areas in Japan. For this reason there are a number of famous cultural, religious, historical, business, and geographical places of interest worth visiting. To the north is Tokyo with its many shopping districts, restaurants, museums, entertainment centers, embassies, and lots more. Mount Fuji is also near and it is fun to climb. Another popular place to visit is the ancient religious center known as Kamakura which is located on the Pacific Coast. All are located close by and is easily accessible by train, bus, or automobile. Best of all, Camp Zama and NAF Atsugi have a multitude of excellent MWR tours available to families to visit these and a lot more places.
