 SGT Derick CallBroadcast Journalist
Sgt Derick Call is a self proclaimed "Maine-iac" as he hails from Rockland, Maine home of lobsters and not much else. He joined the Army in May of 2006 as a 46R Broadcast Journalist. After Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training, "Private Call" made his way to the so called "great place," Fort Hood, Texas. Sgt Call Spent the next three and a half years as a "Black Cat" with the 13th Public Affairs Detachment, the most prolific in all the land. Sgt Call deployed with the 13th and served with the XVIII Airborne Corps in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from February, 2008 to May, 2009. Sgt Call looks forward to being part of AFN and serving America's best.
