A new release of the ARF data file is issued
annually; the 2011-2012 ARF ASCII release and 2011-2012
ARF Access are now available. For differences in these
two products refer to ARF Access

The ARF Can Now Be Downloaded at No Cost.
The 2011-2012 ARF ASCII file and documentation as well
as the 2011-2012 ARF Access can now be downloaded. Click the links below to
download ARF documentation and data:
- Data and documentation in a
single downloadable zip file (contains the
data use license agreement, all documentation
and the 2011-2012 Area Resource File in ASCII
format)
- MS Access Database version in a
single downloadable .zip file (contains the
data use license agreement and MS Access
installer for the Area Resource Data). Please
unzip the file, double click on the
ARFsetup.exe, and follow the instructions from
the 2011-2012 ARF Access System Setup Wizard to
setup the MS Access Database version of ARF
data.

Note: ARF Users, please be aware that on the 2008
and 2009-10 ARF ASCII files, the 2001 population
estimate (field F1198401) was incorrect. This
affects only the ASCII file, not the ARF Access for
those two years. Values for this variable are
correct for all other versions of the ARF, including
the current.
