The War Related Illness and Injury Study Center (WRIISC) offers several clinical programs for Veterans who have post-deployment health concerns. We offer:
The Comprehensive Clinical Evaluation program is an Inter Facility Consult (IFC) service for post-deployment Veterans with complex health conditions with no known cause, a medical history that includes many tests and treatments with little to no symptom improvement, and/or possible deployment-related environmental exposures.
This IFC service is for Primary Care Providers (PCPs) who desire a second opinion using a multi-specialty team approach.

The Exposure Assessment program is for Veterans from all combat eras with post deployment environmental exposure concerns.
Exposure assessments can be provided over the telephone for eligible Veterans who are unable to travel to one of the WRIISC program locations.
