To manage the health care of our nation’s Veterans, attention is required toward reliability, safety, efficiency and efficacy. Many programs are in place with this network to ensure Veterans receive the ‘best care anywhere’ when they enter a VA facility.
VHA is organized into 21 regional districts known as Veterans Integrated Service Networks (VISNs) that manage care for more than 8.3 million Veterans in 153 Medical centers and more than 1,400 Outpatient Clinics, community living centers and domiciliaries.
