Welcome to the 440th Airlift Wing
The men and women of the 440th Airlift Wing extend their greetings and encourage you to explore our website. This website was developed to inform you of our exciting and diverse mission. We are proud of our accomplishments and look forward to a promising future.
We are very active with Operation Iraqi Freedom. Our Maintenance and Operations Groups were mobilized and supplying a large portion of the C-130 airlift in the Middle East. Our mission extends beyond the Middle East into Europe and the Pacific. Often our Airmen are deploying throughout the world to support the Air Mobility Command's global reach mission.
