USOSCE Statements

Where We Deliver Our Statements

The Permanent Council (PC) is the OSCE's main regular decision-making bod. It convenes weekly in Vienna to discuss current developments in the OSCE region and to make decisions. The PC meetings are held behind closed doors. However, statements delivered at the PC by the United States are available on this website.

The Forum for Security Cooperation (FSC) also meets weekly in Vienna to discuss and make decisions regarding military aspects of security in the OSCE area, in particular confidence- and security-building measures. FSC meetings are also held behind closed doors. However, certain statements delivered at the FSC by the United States are available on this website.

The United States also delivers statements at the various review conferences, implementation meetings, ministerial councils and summits held to assess and direct the work of the OSCE and evaluate participating States' commitment to the organization's defining principles.

To locate United States statements, search chronologically using the options in the sidebar on the right of this page, or in the events sections in the navigation bar above. You could also try exploring our "Key Issues" pages or using the search engine available at the top of this page.
