Brigade Command Sergeant Major: Bobby J. Williams

Command Sergeant Major Bobby J. Williams is a resident of Muskegon, Michigan. He entered the military in November 1985 where he first attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. After completing nine weeks of training he attended Advance Individual Training at Fort Gordon Georgia, where he was awarded the MOS of 36M Wiring Systems Operator.

His extensive and diverse duty stations include 5th Mechanized Infantry Division at Fort Polk, Louisiana; B. Company 11th Signal Battalion, Wurzburg, Germany; B Co. 10th Signal Battalion Fort Drum, New York; 181st Signal Company Heidelberg, Germany; D Co 369th Signal Company, Fort Gordon, Georgia, 820th Signal Company, Little Rock Arkansas, 69th Signal Battalion Grafenwoer Germany; 128th Signal Company 39th Signal Battalion, Shape Belgium; 269th Signal Company Fort Huachuca; 69th Signal Company, 504th Signal Battalion Fort Huachuca, AZ; Command Sergeant Major for the 304th Signal Battalion Camp Stanley, Korea, Command Sergeant Major for the 62D ESB, FT Hood, TX Command Sergeant Major for the 54TH Signal Battalion Command Sergeant Major, Camp Arifjan Kuwait, and currently serving as the Command Sergeant Major for the 160th Signal Brigade, Camp Arifjan Kuwait.

Command Sergeant Major Williams has held duty positions from Squad Leader to First Sergeant and Brigade Command Sergeant Major. Command Sergeant Major Bobby J. Williams awards and decorations include, Bronze Star Medal (2), Meritorious Service Medal (5), Joint Commendation Medal, ARCOM (8), AAM (9), Good Conduct Medal (8), National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism, Expeditionary Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon (4), NATO Ribbon, and OSR Service Ribbon (5) the Army Drill Sergeant Badge and Air Assault Badge,. Command Sergeant Major Williams is a graduate of the Sergeants Major Academy Class 57, and holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Excelsior University.
