Hours of Operation
Access to the Visa Unit is by appointment only.
Non-immigrant Visa applicants may schedule an appointment for an interview by accessing our online booking system. The Visa Unit is open to regular visa applicants before 12.00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Appointments on Wednesdays are limited to our business visa applicants who have had their appointment scheduled through their employer. All applicants must have booked an appointment with us before they can come in for an interview.
Immigrant Visa applicants are no longer able to go through with their interviews in Oslo, Norway and must contact the U.S. Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden directly at stkivinfo@state.gov for any questions pertaining to Immigrant Visa Interviews. For other Immigrant Visa services provided at the U.S. Embassy in Oslo is accessible by post only. Please send an e-mail to oslovisa@state.gov for questions related to services provided.
