Year of the Cyber Civilian

On 1 Aug 2012, LtGen Basla hosted a DCO session kicking off the Year of the Cyber Civilian initiative. The goal of this year long effort is to boost our civilian cyber workforce's awareness of roles and missions within the cyberspace domain in order to accelerate transformation of the Cyberspace Operations and Support Community from the traditional "Comm and Info" focus to an operational mindset.

Mission
To integrate Air Force, Air, Space and Cyberspace Information and systems into the joint fight. We do this by directing policy and advocating for resources to provide secure, reliable and timely information to the Joint Warfighter.
