Children of USAID/Mali’s Foreign Service Nationals celebrated Global Youth Service Day
On April 28, the children of USAID/Mali’s Foreign Service Nationals celebrated Global Youth Service Day at the American Club with Ambassador Mary Beth Leonard and USAID Director Rebecca Black. Children shared their experiences and perspectives of the situation in Mali through skits, paintings, drawings, and storytelling – along with their singing of Mali’s national anthem. About 50 children aged 3-18 years participated in the event. USAID/Mali is displaying the children’s artwork in its lobby.
