To report a sexual assault through Fort Meade's 24/7 Sexual Assault Hotlines,
call 443-845-0876 (U.S. Army), 240-752-2773 (U.S. Air Force) or 301-419-1936 (U.S. Navy)

The SHARP program reinforces the Army's commitment to eliminate incidents of sexual harassment and assault through a comprehensive policy that centers on awareness and prevention, training and education, victim advocacy, response, reporting and accountability. Army policy promotes sensitive care and confidential reporting for victims of sexual assault and accountability for those who commit these crimes.

Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army Gen. Raymond T. Odierno

"Sexual assault is, frankly, absolutely inconsistent with our Army values ... One of the things we talk about is that as a Soldier, we have each others back. We take care of each other. Sexual assault and the problem we have in the Army does not fit into that category. So, we are dedicated to establish a campaign for awareness, to change a culture, to understand that we are Soldiers together, that we will protect each other no matter where and when."

Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army Gen. Raymond T. Odierno, Feb. 9, 2012
