Responsibilities of the Office of the District Attorney
The Schuyler County District Attorney's Office is responsible for prosecuting all criminal offenses committed within Schuyler County including serious felony matters, misdemeanors, and violations under the Penal Law and Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York. The District Attorney's Office also conducts investigations and assists state and local law enforcement agencies. This office also assists crime victims who are seeking restitution.
