Imperial has Paley, but it's not obvious

Imperial is an entirely different concept from Paley's Place. Evoking the Lucia's previous identity as the Hotel Imperial, the Portland stop of Eastern Oregon visitors and cattlemen, the restaurant seems to rest on a kind of quasi comfort cuisine. Under executive chef Benjamin Bettinger, former chef de cuisine of Paley's Place before venturing out to Beaker & Flask, the kitchen's impression might be called nouveau retro. Full story »
