The U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree — a 65-foot Engelmann spruce — hails from Congressman Scott Tipton's district in Colorado's White River National Forest.
Speaker John Boehner will light the tree during a ceremony on Tuesday, December 4, on the Capitol's West Front lawn beginning at 5 p.m. EST.
