Pre-Pharmacy Prerequisite Coursework
In addition to meeting the admission requirements, all applicants must complete the following pre-pharmacy prerequisite coursework for consideration of his/her application for acceptance into the program. A bachelor’s degree is not required for admission into the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program.
All pre-pharmacy prerequisite coursework must be:
The minimum grade point average required for consideration into the program is 2.500 of all completed coursework. If a course is repeated, all attempts are used in the calculation of the grade point average.
Math & Science Requirements
• Courses for non-science majors or nursing majors are not acceptable towards the prerequisites, except A&P.
• Courses older than 10 years will not be accepted
• Courses must be completed by the end of the spring semester prior to matriculation

The UNT System College of Pharmacy is in the process of becoming accredited by the Accreditation Council for
Pharmacy Education. The College will not be fully accredited until it graduates its first class in spring 2017.
