The Office for Student Financial Aid and Scholarships main page is a valuable resource for students seeking financial assistance for funding their education. The site provides comprehensive information regarding the financial aid programs available at UNT, including academic scholarships, grants, college work study and loans. Questions about eligibility, application procedures and deadlines, are addressed. Contact information and a list of services available through the Office for Financial Aid and Scholarships is also included.

University of North Texas Doctoral and Master's Fellowships
The Toulouse School of Graduate Studies annually awards a number of generous fellowships to new doctoral and masters students. Eligibility for these fellowships is limited to students nominated by academic departments and programs from among new students beginning their doctoral or masters degree coursework in the fall semester. Specific information is available on the Toulouse School of Graduate Studies web page.
Scholarships for Graduate Students
In addition to scholarships awarded through the College of Visual Arts and Design, graduate scholarships are awarded through the Toulouse School of Graduate Studies. A limited number of scholarships are also awarded to graduate students by Student Financial Aid and Scholarships.
Tuition Waivers
The College of Visual Arts and Design offers thirteen tuition-waiver fellowships for students enrolled in terminal degree programs (PhD and MFA). These fellowships are supplemented by teaching assistantships or teaching fellowships. Consult the art education/art history, design, or studio art department office for more information about these or other awards.
The Priddy Fellowship
The Priddy Charitable Trust Fellowship in Arts Leadership, offered jointly through the North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts and the UNT College of Music, is intended to grant students the knowledge and skills necessary to become influential leaders in the arts community. Each year, 10 students (5 each from art education and music) will be selected on a competitive basis to receive the fellowship which includes an $18,000 stipend for a 12-month period of prescribed full-time graduate study, tuition and most fees, paid state health benefits, as well as a travel allowance to assist in travel to professional meetings and conferences.
