NOAA All Hazards and Weather Alert Radio

One of the best ways to stay informed about the weather at home or your workplace is to have a NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) All Hazards and Weather Alert Radio. They can be purchased at a variety of retailers starting at about $20. If you have a NOAA All Hazards and Weather Alert Radio with the SAME feature, you can program it to receive alerts from specific counties, including Tarrant county, where UNT Health Science Center is located. The codes for Tarrant county and surrounding counties can be found on the Fort Worth Office of Emergency Management website.
