RICHMOND, THOMPSON: ACTION NEEDED ON RECOUPMENT LETTERS
Today, Rep. Cedric L. Richmond (D-LA), Member of the Committee on Homeland Security, and Rep. Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS), Ranking Member of the Committee on Homeland Security, sent a letter to W. Craig Fugate, Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), regarding efforts to recoup disaster payments from individuals who erroneously received financial assistance after Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Wilma.

LOUISIANA RECEIVES $850,000 FOR EXPORT, TRADE PROMOTION
Congressman Cedric Richmond (LA-02) applauded The U.S. Small Business Administration for investing $850,000 in Louisiana to help increase small businesses exports over the next 12 months. The grants were authorized by the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010, under the State Trade and Export Promotion Program (STEP).
