Rakkasans strengthen relationship with steel

Soldiers with the Afghanistan National Army's 4th Kandak, 1st Infantry Brigade, 203rd Afghan Army Corps, perform checks on their Russian made D-30 122mm howitzer while U.S. Army Sgt. Daniel Clampitt, a native of Allen Park, Mich., and member of Battery A, 3rd Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team “Rakkasans," 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), serves as a mentor to the ANA battery team at Camp Clark, Oct. 13, 2012. Rakkasans from 3-320th FA participated in a joint training exercise with the ANA helping them become more proficient with artillery standard order of procedures while strengthening their partnership between each other. It is this type of partnership that is enabling the Afghan Army to take the lead.
