LTC Kendra Whyatt
LTC Kendra P. Whyatt is a native of Greenwood, MS. She received her commission into active federal service through the U.S. Army Reserves. She is a graduate of Prairie View A&M University where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Her leadership and professional development preparation include Officer Basic Course, Officer Advance Course, Advance Nurse Leadership Course, Command and General Staff College, and AMEDD Executive Skills Course. In 2004, she was awarded a Master’s of Arts in Human Relation from the University of Oklahoma.
Her military assignments include Staff nurse: 98th General Hospital ( deactivated and reactivated as 3 CSH) Nuernberg, Germany; General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital, Ft Leonard Wood, MO; Martin Army Community Hospital, Ft Benning, GA; Head Nurse, EMT, Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras; Clinical Instructor for Phase II M6 School; Assistant Head Nurse, Cardio-Thoracic/Stepdown , Brooke Army Medical Center, Ft Sam Houston, TX; Executive Officer/Head Nurse Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Landstuhl, Germany; Assistant Chief Nurse, 86th Combat Support Hospital- Task Force Mosul; Staff Officer/Head Nurse Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Ft Gordon, GA.
She has just returned from a three year assignment in Germany as Commander, Grafenwoehr Health Clinic followed by Deputy Commander of Nursing for Bavaria MEDDAC. Her current position is Deputy Commander for Nursing/Patient Services at Womack Army Medical Center.
