The purpose of the Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Podiatric Medicine & Surgical Residency (PM&S-36) Training Program is to provide a 36-months program involving postgraduate education in Podiatric Medicine & Surgical Training.  The program includes a progressively graduated sequence of clinical and surgical experiences in which a comprehensive study of podiatric medicine, primary podiatric orthopedics and foot surgery & reconstructive rear-foot and ankle surgical sciences are integrated to podiatric clinical and surgical practice. 

             The Residency Training Program is designed to meet the guidelines and requirements established by the recommendation of the Council on Podiatric Medical Education of the American Podiatric Medical Association and its’ associated Councils and Committees.
