The Aircrew Manager is the Aircrew members' voice at Coast Guard Headquarters.
As part of CG-711, the Aircrew Manager is tasked with handling a specific set of personnel concerns within Coast Guard Aviation. Specifically, the Aircrew Manager is responsible for:
All aircrew issues at the Headquarters Level
Developing and maintaining an "Aircrew Standardization Manual" for all Coast Guard aircraft types
Developing and maintaining an aircrew career path for all Coast Guard aircraft types
Representing field level aircrew concerns to CG-711
Assisting the aviation detailers with aircrew qualifications management
Review/Revise aircraft staffing requirements
Partner with all Rating Force Master Chiefs, as well as with crew and non-crew management within each rating
