Our mission is to support operating forces promoting readiness through the efficient operation of shore installations and effective quality support to operational forces.

The elements of this mission are the command of assigned shore activities and installations, serving as the Navy’s Regional Coordinator and Environmental Coordinator, delivering efficient and effective SIM services to assigned AOR and owning Class I and Class II property in assigned AOR.

About Commander, Navy Region Mid Atlantic

As the Naval shore installation management headquarters for the Mid-Atlantic region (Virginia, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina), Navy Region Mid-Atlantic provides coordination of base operating support functions for operating forces throughout the region. This includes providing expertise in areas such as housing, environmental, security, family services, port services, air services, bachelor quarters, supply, medical and logistical concerns for the hundreds of thousands of active-duty, reserve and retired military members in the area. We will be the best at efficiently delivering the right level of shore support services the meets our customer’s mission requirements, reduces risk and ensures our Operational Forces are ready to take the fight to the enemy.
