Being selected to participate in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl is an honor reserved for only the Nation’s most exceptional high school football players, as only the strongest wear the Army colors. These young Americans have earned their selection by displaying some of the very same characteristics found in every Army Strong Soldier, on and off the field.

Get the details on each of this year’s U.S. Army All-Americans and what strengths they’ll bring to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

The comparisons to 2002 U.S. Army All-American and Texas legend Vince Young are inevitable, and warranted, for Swoopes. The dual-threat star passed for 1,394 yards and 15 touchdowns, while running for an incredible 2,267 yards and 29 scores in 2011. He has a cannon for an arm and can make throws even on the run. As Swoopes improves his mechanics and ability to read the field, it is possible he will validate the Young comparisons.
