Since 2001, the U.S. Army All-American Bowl has showcased the nation's premier high school football talent. The level of play in these games has demanded the absolute highest levels of mental, emotional and physical strengths for those participating. The expansive and continually growing list of prominent alumni featured in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl's history stands as proof of this strength and the extraordinary level of competition. Some of the most notable All-American alumni include: Adrian Peterson, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, 2012 #1 NFL Draft Pick Andrew Luck, Marcus Lattimore and Robert Woods among many more.
As of the start of NFL training camps, there are more than 200 U.S. Army All-American Bowl alumni on NFL rosters. During the 2012 NFL Draft, 22 U.S. Army All-Americans were selected, including six first round selections. An incredible total of 51 U.S. Army All-Americans have been selected in the past two NFL Drafts. More and more U.S. Army All-Americans enter the NFL each season as the Army All-American Bowl continues to produce some of the game’s brightest stars on its biggest stage.

- Harvin was one of the best wide receivers in the class of 2006. He scored 33 touchdowns as a senior and was named to the Parade All-American team. He proved his abilities as an all-around athlete by racking up five gold medals at the Virginia Track and Field championships, the most in state history.
College: University of Florida
- In his first year at Florida, Harvin was named the SEC Freshman of the Year by the Associated Press as the Gators won the first of two National Championships in his career. Harvin earned Second-Team All-SEC honors as a sophomore and was twice named a First-Team All-American by various organizations. In his career at Florida, Harvin accumulated 1,900 receiving yards, 1,800 rushing yards (9.5 yards per rush), and 32 touchdowns.
NFL: Minnesota Vikings, Selected in the 2009 NFL Draft, 1st Round, 22nd Overall
- The AP Offensive Rookie of the Year, Harvin was named the starting kick returner for the NFC in the Pro Bowl. Averaging 27.5 yards per return, Harvin returned two for scores during the season, in addition to hauling in six receiving touchdowns. His totals of 60 catches and 790 receiving yards were both tied for tops among rookies. Harvin increased his production in 2010, leading the Vikings with 71 grabs for 868 yards.
