Cryptologic History NewsUPCOMING: SCHORRECK LECTURE, CRYPTOLOGIC HISTORY SYMPOSIUMThe National Security Agency's Center for Cryptologic History (CCH) sponsors the Henry F. Schorreck Memorial Lecture every year. This is a continuing series of academic lectures named in honor of a former NSA Historian, and is an opportunity for the most preeminent scholars from the social sciences to address cryptologic issues in a historical context. The next Schorreck Lecture is scheduled for May 2012. CCH also fields the Cryptologic History Symposium every two years. The next symposium will be held in October 2013. Scholars from U.S. and foreign universities as well as intelligence professionals (active and retired) from the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and other public and private organizations participate in this broad-based examination of cryptologic issues from ancient times to the present. Here is a copy of the 2011 agenda For more information on the Schorreck Lecture and the Symposium, contact Dr. Kent Sieg at 301-688-2336 or via email at kgsieg@nsa.gov |
