4th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade New Personnel

Welcome Letter from the Command Group and Useful Links

Dear Incoming Soldier,

On behalf of the Soldiers, civilians and Family members of the 4th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, welcome to the “Dauntless” team! I would like to personally thank you and your family for the sacrifice you make regularly to serve in the United States Army during a time of war. Your continued service to the needs of our country reflects highly on you and your family, and we are proud to have you become members of our team. The 4th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade at Fort Leonard Wood consists of a Headquarters and Headquarters Company, the 92nd Military Police Battalion, the 5th Engineer Battalion, the 94th Engineer Battalion, the 193rd Brigade Support Battalion, the 94th Signal Company, and our higher headquarters is the 1st Infantry Division at Fort Riley, Kansas.

The 4th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, the only FORSCOM unit located at Ft. Leonard Wood, is heavily involved in the defense of the nation both oversees and at home. Our Training Readiness Authority (TRA) units (92nd MP BN, 5th EN BN, and 94th EN BN) are at different points in their ARFORGEN cycles. All have deployed and/or will deploy in support of overseas contingency operations. The Brigade Headquarters, 193rd BSB, and 94th Signal Company are the elements of Task Force Operations (TF OPS) located at Ft. Leonard Wood for the CBRNE Consequence Management Response Force (CCMRF). TF OPS consists of both active duty and reserve units located strategically throughout the United States. Whether it be US/Mexico border construction, dog teams in Iraq, Police Training Teams in Afghanistan, Continental United States Consequence Management, or Personal Security Detachments throughout the CENTCOM AOR, you can rest assured that your technical expertise is both needed and being well used on real world missions. Our missions require the tenacity and fortitude of strong citizens that you have already proven to be by your continued service.

Upon assignment to the 4th MEB, Battalion CSM's and 1SG's will assign a sponsor that is of similar rank/MOS, so that the transition from your previous assignment will be as seamless as possible. You are encouraged to request a sponsor prior to your arrival, click here and submit the form. If you have not received a response within 5 working days, email the CSM.

I would like to remind you that it is essential for you to observe proper safety precautions, such as observing speed limits, wearing protective gear and exercising good judgment in your activities. We can’t do our job well if our Soldiers are hurt. Thanks for your leadership in this area!
