U.S. Coast Guard Academy Janet McLeavey, who is currently a full professor, taught at USCGA from 1974-79 before returning in 1989. She was a visting professor at the University of Rhode Island from 1979-80 and 1987-89 and was also an Assistant Professor at Emmanuel College from 1973-74.
