Lieutenant Nicholas Seniuk graduated from the United States Coast Guard Academy in 2005, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He was first assigned to USCGC Northland (WMEC-904) home ported in Portsmouth, Virginia as a Deck Watch Officer. On board he also served as the Weapons Officer, First Lieutenant, and Boarding Officer during six operational patrols including one three-month deployment to the Mediterranean and Black Seas. In 2007, he reported to the USCGC Drummond (WPB-1323) in Key West, Florida as the Executive Officer. During the reorganization of 110’ patrol boats in the District Seven AOR, Lieutenant Seniuk took part in the re-homeporting of USCGC Drummond to Miami, Florida and then immediately resumed operations as Executive Officer aboard USCGC Pea Island (WPB 1347). In June, 2009 he was transferred to the Coast Guard Academy Professional Maritime Studies Branch where he is a Nautical Science III instructor.  

His personal awards include a Coast Guard Commendation Medal, Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Commandants Letter of Commendation and the Humanitarian Service Medal. Lieutenant Seniuk is a native of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania and is married to the former Lindsey LeFebvre of Windsor, Connecticut.
