After graduating from the United States Coast Guard Academy in 2004, LT Ogg served aboard Coast Guard Cutter Jarvis (WHEC-725) in Honolulu, Hawaii where she qualified as a Deck Watch Officer and Boarding Officer. She led a division as the Assistant Navigator and served as the Assistant Operations Officer. Upon completion of her tour aboard CGC Jarvis in 2006, LT Ogg reported to Maritime Safety and Security Team (MSST) San Francisco (91105) in Alameda, California where she qualified as a Boat Crew Member, received certification as an Air Force Load Planner and served as the unit’s Planning Officer and Weapons Officer. In 2009, LT Ogg transferred to Coast Guard District Thirteen in Seattle, Washington where she served as the Ports, Waterways and Coastal Security (PWCS) Officer and flag aide to the Thirteenth District Commander. LT Ogg reported to the United States Coast Guard Academy Humanities Department in May 2011.
