Section 8 Vouchers Make Home-Ownership Dreams a Reality

Since March 2001, the Waco Housing Authority has moved four families out of apartments and into houses under the Section 8 home-ownership option program. WHA is currently working to place 38 other families in new homes. For low-income working families that qualify, the new Section 8 rules offer an opportunity to realize the dream of home ownership.   • On December 19, 2001, the Federal Reserve Board issued a rule amending Regulation C, which says that banks with less than $32 million in assets are not required to collect HMDA data during 2002. The previous limit had been $31 million. Read more Off-site page
