Historic Financial Reform Legislation Passes House

This evening, the House approved the conference committee report for the most sweeping financial reform legislation to pass Congress in over 70 years. On a vote of 237 to 192, the House sent the conference report on H.R. 4173, the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act to the Senate for its approval, the final stop before the President's desk.
